Brownlee Lumber, Inc. is looking for a dynamic Operations Coordinator to join our team. This role is crucial for maintaining the smooth operation of our day-to-day logistics and warehouse activities, balancing administrative responsibilities with hands-on warehouse duties.

The Operations Coordinator will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and will play a pivotal role in managing logistics operations to meet customer expectations and company objectives. This role combines administrative functions such as communications, document management, and report writing with direct involvement in warehouse operations, including assisting in tasks such as banding and tallying lumber, forklift operation, and loading/unloading materials.

Areas of Focus:

• 50% Direct Warehouse Involvement - Assisting in banding/tallying lumber, operating forklifts, loading/unloading, and organizing warehouse space.
• 25% Logistics Management - Coordinating shipping/receiving, managing orders, and ensuring efficient transportation and delivery.
• 25% Administrative Support - Supporting office functions related to shipping/receiving and aiding in team coordination and communication.

• Actively participate in warehouse operations, including physical handling of lumber, operating forklifts, and assisting in loading and unloading processes.
• Coordinate both domestic and international shipments to ensure timely delivery.
• Efficiently manage new sales/purchase orders within Inventory and CRM systems.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of all shipping and receiving documents.
• Collaborate with warehouse personnel to optimize space and inventory management.
• Serve as a key communication link between office and warehouse staff, enhancing operational efficiency and team collaboration.

• Associate Degree in a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 1-3 years experience in logistics, warehouse management, or a related position.
• Strong decision-making skills and effective communication abilities.
• Experience in logistics operations and administrative functions.
• High proficiency in business software applications.
• Ability to complete pre-employment criminal background and drug screening.
