Job Title: Operations Coordinator

Location: Hibbing, MN (SIM Supply office)

An Operations Coordinator with Innovative Office Solutions is responsible for helping out with all aspects of the operations in the Hibbing branch. Their roles and responsibilities will vary day to day dependent on the needs of the branch, but will encompass aspects of Delivery Driving, Warehouse coordination or Furniture receiving and install.
Essential Functions:
- Furniture Installer
- Load furniture orders onto truck and deliver product to customer
- Receive furniture inventory into the warehouse and update inventory numbers.
- Help stage furniture for future installs
- Complete furniture assembly/installation as per installation specifications – Training provided
- Inspect furniture for proper operability according to manufacturer’s guidelines
- Ability to work by themselves and with a team of people
- Strengthen customer relationships by providing excellent customer service
- Uniform provided
- Delivery Driver
- Deliver orders when needed on assigned route. All packages must be delivered by the end of the day.
- Monitor and maintain adequate stock levels at customer “keepfill” locations on a week-to-week basis.
- Obtain signatures/names on our cell phone system and/or sign sheets for proof of delivery. When this is not possible, note on the system where the package was delivered. Must also fill out route form for number of stops, etc.
- Appearance: Wear clothing provided by the company and the clothing must be clean and presentable every day.
- Outside of trucks must be clean so wash when necessary. The inside of the trucks must be kept clean too. The trucks are smoke free.
- Daily & weekly truck inspections as directed & light truck maintenance (fluid levels, etc.)
- Openly exchange ideas and opinions with co-workers and ask for help when needed.
- Prioritization of workload. Good attitude and communication is essential to effective team work.
- Safely operate the company vehicle. Report any accidents immediately.
- Warehouse Coordinator
- Competent in order picking
- Able to determine shipping method, LTL or parcel shipping, and correct carrier for each order either on Innovative account or 3rd party
- Answer general customer questions
- Keeps clean and orderly workspace
- Participate in responding to Fulfillment emails
- Support processing returns
- Ability to complete daily opening and closing activities
- Assist with kitting projects
- Coachable - Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- Computer experience
- 1 year delivery experience preferred
- Works well under pressure and achieves deadline.
- Ability to communicate well with others.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Must pass a DOT physical and keep it current.
- MSHA training to be provided and keep current.
- Must be outgoing and have good customer service skills
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis and up to 70 pounds on occasion
- Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop or kneel
