The Construction Operations Coordinator (Coordinator) facilitates the day-to-day efforts of tradespeople and other resources in initiating and completing work assignments to meet campus and residential priorities. The Coordinator oversees completion of both new construction and repair projects to ensure contractors are fulfilling all obligations and that work is carried out according to approved contracts, specifications, and schedules. Serves as a liaison with project management reporting on inspections, subcontracting, progress, and delays. Proactively identifies and works to resolve any site issues that may impede the project completion. Provides technical knowledge and input to assist installing contractors.
The position also requires the Coordinator to complete small construction projects or “handyman” maintenance/repairs as necessary. The campus is located in Naugatuck, CT. There are no remote work opportunities associated with this role.
