Overview:
This position requires a broad understanding of the inner workings of the company as a whole, and uses that knowledge to help the company be successful. The position will work with management to coordinate the daily and weekly schedules of over forty employees. While helping with policy creation and implementation, hiring, advertising, reporting, company development, H2B Visa process, and time off requests. The position requires great organizational, interpersonal, business, and computer-based skills. This is a part time, office-based position in NE Portland with some hours permitted for remote work. Bilingual skills with English and Spanish preferred.
Job Responsibilities:
● Manage company licensing and insurance requirements;
● Maintain and improve company recordkeeping and data structures;
● Create and coordinate the weekly work schedule;
● Manage and transcribe field records to allow for accurate client billing;
● Coordinate and manage the hiring process for all new employees;
● Onboard new hires and orient them to company policies and practices;
● Maintain and update HR related records;
● Coordinate employee benefits enrollment;
● Work with management to resolve personnel issues including conflict resolution, employee injuries; PTO, and workplace culture;
● Work with sustainability and DEI committees to help move the company towards B-Corp certification;
● Coordinate employee training, company-wide events, and annual review process;
● Assist with website and social media management.

● General understanding of small business finances, constraints, and challenges;
● Ability to work with Management to solve problems or resolve disagreements;
● Ability to understand and implement workflows to increase company efficiency;

● Excellent attendance record and punctuality;
● Preference provided to bilingual English and Spanish speakers.
Schedule & Benefits
● Work Week: Approximately 24-32 hours per week (Hours can be discussed)
● This is a year-round position.
● Wage: $26-$30/hour.
● Simple IRA upon eligibility
● Paid Time Off: May accrue up to 160 hours per calendar year at 1 FTE.
● Paid holidays when holidays land on a regularly scheduled work day. (Holidays include New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day).
