Purpose: The Operations Coordinator plays a key role in maintaining the day-to-day operations of our healthcare organization by supporting the Director of Primary Care Services. The Operations Coordinator will help improve operational efficiency, maintain quality standards and reinforce communication facilitated by the Director of Primary Care throughout CMC’s multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities:
Under the instruction of the Director of Primary Care services, will assist in research, observation and problem solving within the organization
Provides hands-on support in collaboration with IT and clinical staff to troubleshoot issues with medical equipment and software
Manage Operations Ticket / Help Desk system by making initial assessment of all tickets, prioritizing, taking initial troubleshooting steps, and redirecting as appropriate
Assist with development and implementation of process improvement plans
Re-educate and train on updated clinical protocols and workflows
Assist with tying in new locations to existing third party accounts, software, and relationships
Other projects and tasks as assigned by the Director of Primary Care Services
This position requires travel and on-site presence at CMCF clinical sites multiple times a week
Utilizes crucial conversations and crucial accountability skills to foster a performance-oriented and feedback-driven environment
Qualifications & Skills:
High school diploma or GED required, Associates Degree or higher preferred
Ability to work independently and take initiative
Strong organizational and prioritization skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Effective time management Time Management and Organizational Skills
Detail-oriented
Ability to process information and implement solutions
Proficiency in utilizing clinical software systems, including: Shared Drives, Electronic Medical Records, Project Management Workspaces, Data Management and Reporting Software
Demonstrates strong leadership skills and Cahaba Core Cultural Competencies (C4s)
