Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Manager to oversee our company's information technology systems and infrastructure. The IT Manager will be responsible for managing our IT team, ensuring the security and efficiency of our networks, and implementing and maintaining software and hardware solutions that support our business operations.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage and oversee the daily operations of the IT department, including infrastructure, networks, systems, and support services.
2. Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure the security and integrity of our systems and data.
3. Liaising with other departments to determine and address their IT needs and requirements.
4. Plan and oversee the implementation of new IT initiatives and projects, including software and hardware upgrades, network expansions, and system integrations.
5. Evaluate and recommend new technologies and solutions to improve efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness.
6. Monitor system performance and reliability, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
7. Manage relationships with external vendors, contractors, and service providers, ensuring SLAs are met and services are delivered according to specifications.
8. Collaborate with other departments to understand their IT needs and develop solutions that support their objectives and priorities.
9. Develop and manage the IT department budget, including forecasting expenses, tracking spending, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
10. Stay current with developments in IT technology and trends, and assess their potential impact on our organization.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT management or a similar role, preferably in a corporate environment.
3. Strong leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a team.
4. Experience developing and implementing IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
5. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to quickly diagnose and resolve technical issues.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
7. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
8. Proof of continued education, such as software certifications, is desirable.
9. Must be able to delegate, lead and communicate effectively.
10. Previous experience in a management or supervisory role required.
11. Must maintain a high level of professionalism at all times.
12. Ethical, moral, self-motivated and results oriented team player.
13. Outstanding people skills and ability to effectively review findings/results with management.
