IT M3 DBA Adminstrator
Location: Roseburg, Eugene, Glendale Oregon.

Position Purpose: Provide technical support and assistance to administration and manufacturing facilities within Swanson Group Incorporated.
Essential Functions*
These duties are designated as ADA Essential Functions and must be performed in this job.
Practice excellent technical and communication skills.
Coordinate with company vendors and consultants regarding troubleshooting, updates, security and pricing.
Make any necessary changes to keep the ERP/MRP, DBA and reporting system maintained and operational 7x24; this includes special software, servers, backups and network.
Knowledge of servers, operating systems, cloud computing, databases, applications, networks, security and internet systems.
Offer support at all Swanson Group facilities. This requires driving to and from each facility. All IT staff must be physically and legally able to operate a motor.
Employee must be able to climb stairs, carry heavy equipment (as outlined in physical capabilities), and walk to offer technical support throughout the offices and mills at each location.
Enforce company policies in areas of safety throughout all operations.
Daily on-site support is required along with on-call and emergency support at all locations. Reliable transportation to sites is required. This position is an on-site only position.
Non-Essential Functions*

OVERVIEW
The IT M3 DBA Administrator focus will be to support InforM3 MRP/ERP, SQL Database systems, reporting tools, programs and equipment that are utilized within the company to meet current and on-going business needs. Includes working on: MRP/ERP cloud infrastructure, SQL databases, reporting systems, industrial inventory computers, and accounting, sales and logistics end user tools. Providing support, deployment, enhancement, documentation, administration and daily maintenance along with other IT duties as needed as part of the IT team.
QUALIFICATIONS / EDUCATION:
- Satisfactorily perform all areas addressed in the “Summary of Responsibilities”.
- Several years’ experience with MRP/ERP systems in a manufacturing environment preferably InforM3.
- Current certifications / skills with SQL database systems, administration and installation.
- Hands on experience and / or certification with on-site and cloud computer services, troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Microsoft software experience with SQL, SSRS, Power BI, Excel, Word, Access, along with experience in Visual Basic, Crystal Reports and other reporting systems.
- College degree in Computer Sciences is preferred, but equivalent work experience is acceptable.
- Minimum of 5-years of progressively increasing responsibility in the areas of computers with emphasis in the wood products industry.
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
Experience with InforM3 ERP / MRP and integrated systems:
- Experience with Infor Ming.le, managing users, roles and security within Infor Federation Services (IFS).
- Experience setting up multiple printer devices, emails, etc.
- Proactively monitor system performance and respond to performance issues in a timely fashion.
- Apply patches and upgrades to ERP environments and communicate with IT on changes.
- Assist developers with project activities including system consultation and project execution.
- Serve as subject matter expert of InforM3 technologies for the IT organization.
- Plan, implement, and maintain disaster recovery solutions for InforM3 and DBA systems.
- Maintain system documentation, InforM3 Concierge knowledge base information and training documentation.
- Coordinate third party vendor support, providing updates and metrics.
Active and current experience with Microsoft SQL Servers and tools:
- Microsoft SQL 2016 and 2019, local and virtual
- Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio
- Microsoft Visual Studio
- Microsoft IIS
- Experience with backup and recovery planning
- Daily administration and maintenance of databases
Report development, implementation and documentation with experience in:
- Microsoft Power BI
- Microsoft SSRS Report Builder
- InforM3 Adhoc Reporting
- InforM3 Birst
- InforM3 Datalake
- Microsoft Excel
- Crystal Reports
Operational Support and other IT Maintenance:
- New system facilitation, current system enhancements including new system installs and repairs to meet manufacturing and administrations time lines.
- Daily support of network systems, infrastructure, user administration in a shared multi-site network.
- Maintain network security and policies for location.
- Manage internal/external application upgrades and change management.
- Maintain and support the manufacturing system and inventory process. Support for ticketing system and performing inventory with handheld barcode scanners along with hands on training to users.
User Training:
- Work with staff and employees to provide training and documentation for on-site systems and processes.
Professional Qualities:
- Ability to provide excellent customer support to employees on-site and on-call.
- Work well with other IT staff at other locations to solve problems.
- Write documentation, help and train end users.
- Enforce and maintain local computer policies.

- Ability to read an interpret documents such as: safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
