Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced IT Administrator to join our team. As an IT Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our IT infrastructure, ensuring the smooth operation of our systems and networks.
Duties:
· Define, document and communicate the company’s information technology strategy and path forward.
· Design, implement and maintain reliable information systems to support the operation and management of Services Plus including but not limited to:
1. Administer and support all aspects of a Windows LAN/WAN computer network, wired and wireless hardware, software and applications.
2. Coordinate and manage data backups. Also, coordinate disaster recovery/business continuity planning, procedures and documentation related to Information Technology hardware, software and procedures.
3. Setup, monitor and maintain web filtering and other malware monitoring. Also setup, monitor and maintain various network performance and security monitoring hardware and software.
4. Coordinate and manage the design, configuration, database maintenance, testing, and training of an Oracle based ERP/WMS software system.
5. Manage and maintain Services Plus telephony and communication systems
6. Establish and update company IT related policies
· Develop and maintain seamless information interfaces with customer systems
· Provide continuous improvement of the company’s information systems
· Support the development and implementation of management metrics
· Manage and coordinate in-house and outsourced programming and development projects
· Develop and provide training to all employees as needed
· Design and manage the formal and informal elements of the company’s data warehouse, as well as effective user access to the information
· Research new technology, and implement or recommend its implementation.
· Manage and coordinate all aspects of the various security components of Services Plus’ security system including; video, building access, and act as key contact for police, fire, and city resources related to security systems.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or direct experience in the Computer Science area.
· System administration and networking knowledge on a Microsoft Windows environment (MS 365, Windows Servers, Sharepoint)
· Knowledge and understanding of database concepts
· Knowledge of manufacturing and/or warehouse processes
· Knowledge of programming or scripting language(s) preferred
· Knowledge of server virtualization strategies and software preferred
· Knowledge of remote administration practices and applications preferred
· Knowledge of data warehousing and business intelligence tools preferred
