IT Asset Management Administrator performs various IT asset administration duties related to the organization's hardware, software, and service contracts. Administers systems for tracking IT asset life cycles, managing inventory and maintaining information on software licenses and service level agreements. Being an IT Asset Management Administrator ensures compliance with purchasing procedures and standards. Tracks quality throughout product/contract lifetimes. Additionally, IT Asset Management Administrator typically requires a bachelor's degree in a related area. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Reviewing and collecting data in support of projects, utilizing multiple methods and access points.
Obtaining and reviewing information through multiple internal databases.
Accurately entering data from multiple databases into one centralized database
Identifying and reporting any outlying concerns/issues found while entering data.
Research internal databases for specific documents for supporting projects.
Collection and storage of supporting documents to include downloading, uploading, filing, linking, etc.
Collaborate with various internal departments involved with the projects.
Participate in virtual meetings for collaboration and reporting purposes.
Ensure confidentiality within all databases and handling of all information with discretion.
education and/or Experience.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel and PDF
Experience with data entry preferred.
Highly organized and detail oriented
Ability to work independent with minimal daily, direct supervision.
Language Skills: Must be fluent in speaking and writing the English language.
Work Hours:
In a typical week, this position requires a minimum of 35-40 hours with regular and predictable
attendance. Occasional weekend work may be required.
Work Environment: This work is usually performed both indoors and outdoors with normal noise levels and
minimal exposure to hazardous conditions
