The Position

Lead a team in leveraging technology to meet the needs of internal and external customers. The Vermont Country Store is currently seeking an IT Manager to join our Technology and Business Solutions Team. This role reports to the Head of Technology and oversees a wide range of information technology applications including the company’s enterprise system, website, and various specialized applications throughout the company. The IT Manager will also supervise and direct a team of technical business analysts and other IT resources to accomplish their goals.

Candidates who are residents of VT are eligible to enjoy a hybrid work arrangement, working onsite from our office in Manchester Center, Vermont, and at home. All candidates must be within a commutable distance to, and available to work from our office in Manchester Center.

A Sampling of What You’ll Do

• Plan and organize the ever-evolving data and business system architecture to support company goals.
• Work collaboratively with stakeholders throughout the company to identify current and future technology related needs of the business.
• Design, develop, and enhance interfaces between business applications.
• Constantly be on the lookout for cost saving opportunities by leveraging technology to save time or reduce manual tasks.
• Help manage and structure data throughout the company for analysis and reporting.
• Constantly collaborate with other IT Managers and team members to improve the servers provided to the company.
• Collaborate closely with business and technical teams to optimize solutions through a combination of technical and business process problem solving.
• Oversee vendors performing software development tasks on behalf of the IT department.

• Detail oriented with consistent and timely follow through.
• Strong presentation, listening, verbal, and written skills.
• 5-10 years of IT management experience
