Implements policies for network storage system troubleshooting, updating and general maintenance. Being an IT Capacity Planner documents problems and solutions and serves as the point of contact for network capacity related issues. Allocates storage space, plans for future projects or acquisitions, reviews hardware and software configurations and makes suggestions for appropriate storage or backup models. Additionally, IT Capacity Planner may require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a manager. To be an IT Capacity Planner typically requires 2 to 4 years of related experience. Gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. The Ashley Furniture Team is seeking a process-oriented and results-driven Manufacturing Production Planner to join our Arcadia, WI Manufacturing Team!
The Manufacturing Production Planner will create and manage the release of realistic manufacturing plans/schedules while minimizing excess work-in process inventory to allow a final assembly schedule to be executed at or above schedule completion goals considering production process, labor and material availability to complete all final assembly requirements. This position will interact frequently with shop floor planners to ensure correct schedules are executed as planned; investigate root cause of issues and make decisions or recommendations for solutions and escalate if necessary.
