IT Capacity Planner jobs in Miami, FL
IT Capacity Planner evaluates the organization's data processing and storage needs and develops long-term plans to meet business requirements. Implements policies for network storage system troubleshooting, updating and general maintenance. Being an IT Capacity Planner documents problems and solutions and serves as the point of contact for network capacity related issues. Allocates storage space, plans for future projects or acquisitions, reviews hardware and software configurations and makes suggestions for appropriate storage or backup models. Additionally, IT Capacity Planner may require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a manager. To be an IT Capacity Planner typically requires 2 to 4 years of related experience. Gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Job Description
We are seeking a IT Manager to Lead a technical support efforts as well as be a hands on technical person for hotel staff and guests. This individual is responsible for maintaining the integrity of the hotel systems and responding to issues. The ideal individual can work independently and be a team leader. This role does require working select evenings and weekeds.
Qualifications
Skills Required:
Troubleshooting & Installation of Microsoft Windows 10/11.
Basic VMware
Windows Server 2012/2016
Virus removal.
Computer repair and assembly.
Understanding of networking.
Understanding of Wireless 802.11a/b/g/n.
Knowledge of Active Directory and how to add and delete users.
Experience with ticketing system. (Hotsos)
Must be able to lift 40lbs or more.
Skills desired.
Experience with Office365 & SharePoint preferred.
Experience with Hospitality software such as Opera, Vingcard, Micros Simphony.
4 years technical experience.
2 years in a supervisor role.
Additional Information
This role will be scheduled during several evenings and weekends.
Must be on-call after hours.
