IT Capacity Planner jobs in Sioux Falls, SD
IT Capacity Planner evaluates the organization's data processing and storage needs and develops long-term plans to meet business requirements. Implements policies for network storage system troubleshooting, updating and general maintenance. Being an IT Capacity Planner documents problems and solutions and serves as the point of contact for network capacity related issues. Allocates storage space, plans for future projects or acquisitions, reviews hardware and software configurations and makes suggestions for appropriate storage or backup models. Additionally, IT Capacity Planner may require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a manager. To be an IT Capacity Planner typically requires 2 to 4 years of related experience. Gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Production Planner
Summary: The Mitographers, Inc. is currently seeking a full time Production Planner to join our growth focused, forward thinking organization.
Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Scheduling jobs
- Reserving materials
- Establishing a raw-goods inventory
- Maintaining the Printflow scheduling system
- Coordinating expedited jobs
- Developing job plans for maximum job efficiency and velocity
- Creating Letters of Quote
- Developing reporting methods
- Recommending job plan changes
Qualifications:
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong math skills
- Solid analytical skills to identify problems and opportunities
- Report-writing experience (preferred)
- Printing industry process knowledge (2-3 years preferred)
- Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and experience with ISO quality systems (preferred)
