Implements policies for network storage system troubleshooting, updating and general maintenance. Allocates storage space, plans for future projects or acquisitions, reviews hardware and software configurations and makes suggestions for appropriate storage or backup models. Additionally, IT Capacity Planner, Sr. may require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a manager. To be an IT Capacity Planner, Sr. typically requires 4 to 7 years of related experience. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Job Description:
Responsibilities:
Liaison with end users to understand the enhancement needs and support ticket issues
Coordinate with relevant stakeholders and come up with a enhancement delivery or ticket resolution path from functional needs standpoint
Coordinate with relevant Client managers and architects and come up with a enhancement delivery or ticket resolution path from technical needs standpoint
Coordinate with offshore tech lead for enhancements delivery timelines and ticket resolution
Capacity Planning and Stakeholder reporting
Liaison with client stakeholders to ensure design meets the client standards
Provide recommendations and solutions for tickets and enhancements for architecture and design
Do hands on enhancements / ticket resolution work as needed when offshore team is offline
Work with Client Account Manager to manage and monitor BI service delivery
Troubleshoot ticket issues for root cause analysis and issue resolution in analytics, reporting and dashboard layers
Architect and design analytics, reporting and dashboard solutions working with client stakeholders
Layout solution and components for offshore team for solution build
Design and support builds and testing reporting and dashboard solutions
Drive creation and execution of test plans and test cases with offshore leads
Lead code deployment to production with offshore lead
Provide normalization support
Qualifications:
10 years of IT experience with 7 years of analytics and data engineering experience
Experience in driving agile delivery teams across geographies and working directly with clients
Solid foundation on BI Technology and Architecture
Experience in analytics architecture and engineering
Experience in BI, DW, Data Engineering, Data Visualization & Analytics across databases and platforms
Experience in AWS Airflow, ETL DBT, RDS, ADF, ADB, ADL and Python
Well experienced on modern visualization tools like Tableau, PowerBI and Sisense
Proven track record of stretching himself to meet project deadlines and deliver under pressure
Engaged directly with clients and stakeholders to define, gather, and drive business requirements for strategic decision making
Good exposure to Data Modeling across databases and cloud-based applications like SAP, Oracle and Salesforce
Experience in solution delivery leveraging agile methodologies
