We are an independent Wealth Management firm located in Southern NH seeking a high quality, energetic individual to work directly with our financial planning team serving a group of successful financial planners. This is an excellent opportunity for growth in the financial services industry.

Job Overview:

We are seeking a financial planning associate to join our firm. The ideal candidate would have financial services experience, and preferably hold Series 7 and 66 securities licenses. However, we would also be willing to assist in obtaining these licenses for the right person. Such an individual will desire working in a team-oriented independent RIA firm; will have involvement in all aspects of the business, learning and shaping the way we resource our advisors. Responsibilities:

• Assist Wealth Managers in managing client relationships, including scheduling meetings, preparing materials, and following up on action items.
• Prepare and process client documentation, such as account openings, transfers, and investment transactions.
• Coordinate with internal departments to facilitate client requests and resolve inquiries in a timely manner.
• Assist in the preparation of client reports, presentations, and other communication materials.
• Organization of gathered data and input into various financial planning software
• Work closely with head of department to deliver high quality financial planning output to financial advisors
• Work with advisors to clarify client goals and objectives, and help provide adjustments when needed
• Tracking and reviewing of fee-based financial plans to ensure the plan satisfies the client agreement forms
• Run investment research reports
• Oversee the process for the collection and reporting of financial planning fees
• Monthly and annual reporting projects

Desired Skills:

• 4-year College degree
• 2-3 years in a professional office environment preferred, but not necessary for the right career-oriented candidate
• FINRA Series 7 & 66 licenses is a plus but not required
• FPQP, ChFC or other similar designation is a plus but not required
• Ability to learn various software applications
• Proficient in Microsoft office applications, including Excel and Outlook
• High level of attention to detail
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Capacity to work in a collaborative environment and work independently
