  • Position Summary Strategic position responsible for leading forecasting, sales, and overall demand planning as part of the Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning processes for the Climate Solutions business. This position will be directly reporting to Senior Director - SIOP for Climate solution. Develop a long-term planning approach for regions and businesses covering simplification and standardization of forecasting and Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning. Coordination of all cross-functional teams to ensure an accurate sales forecast at the revenue, product family, and SKU level while minimizing excess and aged finished goods inventory. Drive monthly SIOP and sales pace processes between the plants, sales teams, and product management to ensure predictable execution of the monthly sales plan. Key Responsibilities Develop a long-term planning approach for regions and businesses covering simplification and standardization of demand management and forecasting as part of the Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning processes. Coordination of all cross-functional sales planning initiatives across all major product lines and vertical businesses. Lead planning and forecast meetings (SIOP) to ensure uninterrupted delivery to customers, minimal downtime, and sufficient notification of supply base and operational teams. Partner cross functionally using advanced analytics for inventory estimation, reporting and project management. Lead in a pivotal role in financial closing and forecasting. Participates in and coaches team members and partners to support a culture of Continuous Improvement and growth. Including efforts to reduce costs, grow margins, improve cash flow, and increase turns. PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, related field, or equivalent years of transferable experience. Eight years of successful experience in all phases of the SIOP process within a manufacturing environment required. Prior experience in customer service a plus. Engaging communication, interpersonal and customer service style. Strong quantitative skills and ability to analyze historical forecasts and make recommendations for business adjustments in partnership with sales and account management team. Ability to travel as required, up to 30% including international and domestic trips. Able to work collaboratively and maintain effective relationships with co-workers, internal customers, and stakeholders. Ability to effectively lead problem-solving activities and work with minimal supervision.
