IT Capacity Planning Manager jobs in Galveston, TX

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain high levels of performance, reliability, and scalability of applications, infrastructure, networks, and hardware
• Implementation of new programs and software
• Proactively work to improve and enhance efficiencies or programs and process across the OIS IT platform
• Ensure IT systems and procedures adhere to applicable laws and regulations
• Ensure an effective information security program
• Develop guidelines, processes, and best practices for information security, system implementations, etc. Responsible for training staff on said processes.
• Ensure technology projects have strong project management structure, development methods, and lifecycle management. Ensure projects are completed within timeline and budget constraints
• Help IT department choose the best vendors, applications, and programs
• Be adaptive and agile to an ever changing business and business needs

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer information systems or related field
• 5 years of professional IT experience
• 2 years in an IT management role
• Experience with managing IT platforms including F&A, and operational software systems
• Experience with data management tools
• Experience with managing integrations among various technologies
• Proficient in O365 Suite
• Experience managing and working extensively with a CRM
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
