Scrap It Inc. is a growing company that has become the leader in scrap metal recycling services in the New England area.

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Parts Manager to join our team. You will be responsible for inventory management, ordering, and distribution of parts for trucks and heavy equipment. Your role will be to ensure our fleet and machinery have the necessary parts and supplies to operate efficiently and effectively for our four locations.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the overall management of the parts inventory, including ordering, receiving, stocking, and tracking of parts.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of parts and negotiate pricing.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to understand their parts requirements and ensure timely availability.
• Maintain accurate records of all parts transactions, including documentation of incoming and outgoing parts.
• Ensure that all parts are stored in an organized manner for easy retrieval and maintain a clean and safe parts room.
• Develop and maintain relationships with our vendors.
• Coordinate with vendors to resolve any issues related to part quality, delivery delays, or discrepancies.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years experience in trucking or heavy equipment parts management
• Must have in-depth knowledge of trucking and heavy equipment parts, including different brands, models, and compatibility.
• Proven experience in inventory management
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient computer skills, including experience with inventory management software.
• Valid driver's license
• Mechanical knowledge is a plus!

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
