IT Contracts Manager jobs in Philadelphia, PA

IT Contracts Manager creates, writes, negotiates and reviews hardware or software licensing contracts. Works with the Business Development team in establishing agreements that reflect the interests of partners and the company. Being an IT Contracts Manager also works with legal counsel when drafting licensing agreements. Ensures contract performance and rewrites or amends as necessary. Additionally, IT Contracts Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Must have a solid understanding of web technology. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The IT Contracts Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes.     As the primary customer focal point in the company for Commercial Business Unit customers, the successful candidate will manage the relationship with the customer’s representatives by providing efficient and effective communication channels and responding to the customers’ requests and expectations.

    The successful candidate will play a proactive role in the prevention of problems during the execution of the contract by highlighting potential areas of concerns and promptly driving the company to solve issues.

    The successful candidate will be responsible for the helicopter delivery process in compliance with company procedures by coordinating all necessary departments and ensuring the fulfilment of contractual requirements to ensure customer expectations are exceeded.

    Manages contracts for the sale of helicopters.

    Works in close collaboration with the Program Manager and Sales Manager to ensure 

    that customers receive what the contract demands.

    Coordinates the internal departments to ensure the proper and timely performance 

    and fulfilment of the contractual obligations on behalf of the customer.

    Ensures the on-time payment, helicopter configuration, definition of painting and interiors scheme and delivery/acceptance of helicopters.

    Processes documents that are necessary for the customer to accomplish timely 

    and proper delivery procedures.

    Works one-on-one with the customer to accomplish the inspection and acceptance of the finished helicopters.

    1. Qualifications for Position

             A. Education

    BA/BS degree (Business related field preferred)

     

             B. Experience

    Two to five years of contracts experience or related business development field

     

             C. Competencies & Attributes

    1.

    Strong written and oral communication skills. 

    2.

    In-depth knowledge of contractual terms and conditions.

    3.

    Able to work under pressure and meet customer deadlines.

    4.

    Ability to work with online management software-SAP or equivalent.
