Manages a Cost Analyst.What you will do:
- Provides financial forecasting, analyzing operational profitability, and other ad-hoc analysis and financial reporting and recommendations as needed.
- Utilizes appropriate reporting tools, partner with the General Manager and Management Team to produce operational results that meet or exceed stated goals and expectations.
- Ensures adequate controls are established and adhered to in order to ensure that both internal and external accounting policies are followed.
- Responsible for preparation of investment requests complete with payback for the Sparta plant based on the tesa standards and ensure internal alignment.
- Evaluates performance of various plant activities and KPI’s.
- Analyzes operations to identify opportunities for productivity improvements; recommend and implement corrective actions when warranted.
- Leads cost analysis and periodic costing updates in ERP system (SAP).
- Overall responsibility for Standard Costing and Intercompany Pricing; Inventory Accounting & Production related Variances
- Leads month, quarter and year end closings for the Sparta Plant.
What you will need:- Bachelor of Science in Finance or Accounting;
- Five (5) years of plant controlling experience
- Strong financial background in manufacturing environment
- Strong analytical and logical skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office; strong expertise in Excel
- SAP experience would be helpful
- Able and willing to travel up to 10% annually domestically and/or internationally.
