Your Day to Day

• Prepare and coordinate information, analysis and reports to external auditors for audits.
• Manage the accounting team, including staffing, goal setting, performance management.
• Manage and support the month-end and year-end close processes.
• Ensure account payables and receivables are collected and paid timely.
• Ensure that periodic bank reconciliations are completed, and accurate treasury forecast are performed.
• Maintain a system of controls over accounting transactions and reporting.
• Comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
• Calculate and issue financial and operating metrics; issue timely and complete financial statements.
• Work with Plant Director and Senior Management to provide appropriate KPI’s to assist in business decisions.
• Reconcile physical cycle inventory counts to the company general ledger monthly and make appropriate adjustments for differences.
• Coordinate and prepare reporting package including daily, weekly, and monthly production and financial reports. Budget and financial forecasts and report variances.
• Travel up to 20%

What We Would Love About You

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance. (CPA or Advanced degree preferred.)
• 3 years hands-on accounting managerial experience. 7 years of overall combined accounting and finance experience.
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
• Experience with creating financial statements. Experience with general ledger functions and the month end/year end close process.
• Experience creating reports and analyzing performance with Business Intelligence (BI) tools and/or queries on databases.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook and accounting software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Effective organizational, prioritizing and time-management skills. Strong problem-solving skills
• Uphold confidentiality with the highest standard of ethical conduct.
• Demonstrated personal effectiveness and credibility.
• Proven track record of delivering projects promptly before deadlines. Ability to effectively prioritize tasks between competing projects.

Compensation

Base salary range of $100k to $120k plus bonus, depending on experience.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
