Title: Infrastructure Administrator

Location: Charles City, Iowa (Hybrid-50/50)

Must Haves: Microsoft 365 Admin (News Users, Removals, Licensing, Exchange), Firewalls, Sharepoint, Teams, Microsoft Exchange

The Infrastructure Administrator provides the highest level of customer service to our colleagues and drives tasks to completion. The person who will thrive in this role will possess a broad knowledge of computing environments. This person will have direct, hands-on experience with on-site, cloud, and hybrid infrastructure deployments. Experience designing and implementing wired, wireless, and software defined networks and virtual server environments is highly desired.

Job Responsibilities:

• Fully support, configure, maintain, and upgrade the company’s internal and cloud computing environments.
• Recommend, install, maintain, and integrate server hardware and applications.
• Manage, upgrade, and troubleshoot telephone system.
• Manage all SSL certificates as well as internal and external DNS services for the organization.
• Manage resources, software distribution, third party software installations, inventory, software package creation, and troubleshoot failed installs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues.
• Work with vendors.
• Microsoft 365 administration including User Administration, SharePoint, Teams, Exchange, and OneDrive.
• Prioritize, align, and schedule OS and other infrastructure changes, deployments and upgrades as needed.
• Configure and optimize multiple Cisco Meraki devices including switches, access points, and other network equipment.
• Monitor systems, applications, and file servers for stability and resource utilization; implement, tune and troubleshoot systems and applications.
• Work with IT Manager to define network policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications / Skills:

• Proven experience in similar roles with matching responsibilities.
• Direct experience with installing and configuring network equipment including firewalls, VPNs, switches, routers, and wireless access points.
• Ability to select, procure, set up, and configure server hardware.
• Proven experience and/or certification in VMWare environment administration and configuration.
• Familiarity with backup and recovery tools and methods including disaster recovery planning.
• Ability to perform root cause analysis for computing environment issues.
• In-depth knowledge of Operating Systems.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and projects according to company strategic goals.
• At least 10 years working with a wide variety of server and network hardware devices.
• Minimum 5 years direct experience with Microsoft software and services administration.

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

• BS in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or similar preferred, combined education and experience considered.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Familiar with ITIL principles.

Physical Requirements

• Remain seated or standing for periods of time.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to view computer screens for long periods of time.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $85,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
