IT Procurement Administrator administers and coordinates activities and processes in the IT procurement function. Prepares RFI's and RFP's based on stakeholder and company requirements. Being an IT Procurement Administrator conducts sourcing activities to evaluate supplier pricing and offerings. Reviews contracts, terms, and service level agreements. Additionally, IT Procurement Administrator inputs and tracks procurement data. Facilitates the planning and coordination of equipment delivery, installations, upgrades, and changes. Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The IT Procurement Administrator work is generally independent and collaborative in nature.   • As an IT Administrator, you will install, support, and maintain desktops (Windows and Mac), local networks, tablets and smartphones, and various desktop applications. Additionally, you will migrate data, resolve help desk tickets, and resolve network issues at multiple sites.
    Technical Skills
    • Proficient in Windows Server operating systems, Active Directory, Group Policy, and DNS
    • Experience with server virtualization technologies, such as VMware or Hyper-V
    • Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols, including DNS, TCP/IP, DHCP, and firewalls
    • Experience with cloud-based technologies, Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services (AWS)
    • Experience with backup and disaster recovery procedures
    • Troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve server and network issues
    Dental-Specific Skills
    • Knowledge of dental practice management software (Open Dental, preferred)
    • Understanding of HIPAA compliance requirements for dental practices
    • Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems
    • Ability to work with dental professionals to understand their IT needs
    Key Responsibilities
    • Install, configure, and maintain servers and network infrastructure
    • Manage user accounts and access permissions
    • Implement and maintain security measures to protect sensitive data
    • Monitor Windows server and server application performance and resolve issues
    • Troubleshoot and resolve server and network issues
    • Produce, maintain, and update technical documentation
    • Provide IT support to dental staff
    • Stay up-to-date on new technologies and trends
    Required Skills/Abilities
    • Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
    • Attention to detail
    • Ability to learn new technologies quickly
    • Valid driver's license and clean MVR
    • Flexibility to accommodate after-hours and weekly business needs
