The Procurement Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and cost-effective sourcing of goods and services for ODW’s operations. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to optimize the supply chain. This position has daily interaction with operations teams, vendors, customers, and functional departments to provide guidance and oversight to achieve organizational success.

Essential Functions

1. Develop and implement strategic procurement plans aligned with the company's overall goals and objectives.

2. Identify cost-saving opportunities and innovative sourcing strategies.

3. Cultivate and manage relationships with suppliers to ensure the timely and reliable delivery of goods and services.

4. Conduct regular performance reviews and assessments of key suppliers.

5. Negotiate favorable terms and conditions with suppliers, ensuring the best value for the company.

6. Draft, review, and manage contracts to mitigate risks and ensure compliance.

7. Monitor and analyze market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities.

8. Implement cost control measures without compromising quality and service levels.

9. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to establish quality standards for procured goods and services.

10. Implement and monitor quality assurance programs within the procurement process.

11. Identify and assess potential risks in the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies.

12. Stay informed about industry regulations and compliance requirements.

13. Continuously evaluate and improve procurement processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

14. Implement technology solutions to streamline procurement workflows.

15. Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
• 5 - 10 years of progressive experience in Supply Chain and Logistics.
• Proven experience as a Procurement Manager in a 3PL or logistics environment.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• In-depth knowledge of procurement best practices and supply chain management.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
