General Summary
As Procurement Manager you will be responsible for sourcing equipment, goods and services, managing vendors and completing customer RFQs. To be successful in this role you will show you are able to perform strategic procurement activities with a fiduciary responsibility mindset. You will be responsible for generating, tracking and communicating quoting activities for new and existing customers. Responsibilities include managing direct reports, facilitating quoting activities, approving inputs, ensuring manufacturability, managing projects, assisting with production scheduling, and correcting documentation as it relates to quality and manufacturing issues. The ideal candidate should have thorough knowledge and working background in manufacturing, component level of technical understanding and have excellent customer service and supplier relations skills including negotiation and follow-up.
