IT Production Control Manager plans, directs, and manages the daily operations of the production control activities in an IT environment. Develops and administers policies and procedures for ensuring the flow of data and operations between or within departments. Being an IT Production Control Manager may require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The IT Production Control Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. To be an IT Production Control Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 to 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Qualifications:
- Diploma/GED
- Basic Reading and math skills
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Effective communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production targets
