Job Responsibilities:- Managing IT Support team staffing, including recruitment, supervision, scheduling, development, and evaluation
- Provide training to new IT employees.
- Overseeing IT Service Desk system for tracking incidents, assets, and knowledge base
- Maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) of IT Service Desk
- Providing support in all areas of provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of IT client systems hardware and software and related infrastructure
- Maintaining up-to-date documentation of the networking infrastructure
- In addition to solving day-to-day issues, this individual will be responsible for understanding why they occur and providing long-term solutions to prevent them from happening again.
- Serving as a technical lead on company projects.
- Ensuring adherence to industry standard IT practices and providing support for both internal and external compliance audits
- Conducting research and providing recommendations on emerging products, services, protocols, and standards in support of systems software procurement and development
- Being on call and able to manage critical issues outside normal work hours.
- Coordinating with MSP to escalate unresolved issues in a timely fashion.
Job Qualifications:- 5 years of operational experience in IT client/end-user support and in IT Infrastructure
- 3 years management experience (preferred)
- Experience with Windows Server Operating Systems (2012/2016/2019/2022), Active Directory, Microsoft SQL, Microsoft 365, Azure Active Directory.
- Experience with VMWare / VCenter / ESXI
- Network Switching & Routing (CCNA Preferred)
- Must be a champion for pushing IT standards, procedures, policies, and best practices.
