IT Production Control Manager plans, directs, and manages the daily operations of the production control activities in an IT environment. Develops and administers policies and procedures for ensuring the flow of data and operations between or within departments. Perform maintenance, repair, and support for various plant-related end devices including, but not limited to, Zebra ruggedized handhelds and terminals, barcode printers, industrial PCs, timeclocks, impact printers, and badge printers. Execute diagnostics, part replacements/repairs, program, and test to ensure optimum equipment performance; work with ServiceNow and SAP-PM for equipment repair and replacement tracking; and assist with the installation and training on the operation of new equipment; Must possess the ability to oversee the setup, support, troubleshooting, and repair of various devices aforementioned as well as coordinate with vendors on repair and supplies; responsible for other duties as assigned by supervisor
REQUIREMENTS:
Experience: 3 years of equipment repair, networking, or PC support
Computer Skills: Requires knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and Android Operating Systems. SOTI MobiControl and Windows imaging are a plus
Education: At a minimum, two years of vocational-technical education is preferred
Special Skills:
Must have a thorough understanding of data networking and equipment technology;
must have an excellent understanding of troubleshooting techniques and very proficient problem-solving practices; should be capable of working with complex diagnostic tools;
prioritizing skills and attention to detail are a must.
