We are looking for an experienced Production Control Manager to develop and manage the overall production planning activities for the plant maximizing customer service, delivery, production utilization, material control, inventor control, and purchasing.

    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Manage inventory levels including establishing goals, rotating stock, managing purchasing and supply base, and developing methods and procedures.
    • Develop long-range initiatives for production control group, which include continuously evaluating the plant’s needs, capacities, capital, expenses, etc. to meet the growth goals.
    • Establish effective communication with various groups such as customers, business development etc. to ensure on-time delivery of products and team support.
    • Minimize interruptions to production schedules through effective parts and materials procurement practices.
    • Assist in planning the operating budget for all areas of accountability.
    • Provide training and development opportunities for members of the Production Control team as required sharpening the team’s performance skills presently and in the future.
    • Work on maintaining and developing network system, which allows access to the plant’s manufacturing systems to streamline information and generate reports.

    Qualifications:

    Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field is required. In addition, eight (8) to ten (10) years of previous manufacturing/production control experience, including experience in a supervisory or management role or equivalent gained through a combination of education and experience.

    Technical Competencies:

    • Knowledge of plant’s manufacturing systems and processes.
    • Administrative knowledge regarding budgeting, data collection and capital equipment analysis.

    Environment:

    May be exposed to both hot and cool conditions, with a moderate to high noise level.

    • Basic administrative recycling of paper, plastics, aluminum.
    • Ensure EMS requirements are being followed by all Team Members in respective areas.
