IT Production Control Manager plans, directs, and manages the daily operations of the production control activities in an IT environment. Develops and administers policies and procedures for ensuring the flow of data and operations between or within departments. Being an IT Production Control Manager may require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The IT Production Control Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. To be an IT Production Control Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 to 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


    Include the following (other duties may be assigned):

     

    Establishes and maintains network users, user environment, directories, and security.

     

    Responds to the needs and questions of network users concerning their access to resources on the network and the operation of various software programs.

     

    Remains abreast of changes in user and system software and hardware requirements.

     

    Monitors and administers the network, keeping system information up-to-date in a network log.

     

    Updates the operating system as required.

     

    Manages memory usage of the network, network printing, and network technical resources.

    Maintains a backup of all files, security, and rights.

     

     

    Qualification Requirements:

    Education and/or Experience:
