Job OverviewUpdates spreadsheets used for tracking tube mill progress. Issues completed tubes to assembly job in Epicor and coordinates D62 Production Control for completed tubes. Receives new coil into ERP system and creates test tube jobs. Assists with correcting operations/material in ERP system. Works with production team (supervisors, scheduling, team leads, etc.) to help close any gaps or resolve any issues holding up production.Responsibilities and Duties
- Adds new cycles to 71 cycle spreadsheet and tracks/updates the current operation of each cycle. Highlights orders numbers according to what D62 still needs in the current & following week.
- Updates the total completed quantity for each order and quantity completed at each machine for each order in D71 tab in goals spreadsheet. Marks an “X” in projected column of D71 tab when an order is completed in D71 (projected date is to be updated by D71 supervisor until order is completed in D71).
- Works with D71 Supervisor and monitors workflow for D71 to ensure completed travelers are received back in a timely manner.
- Receives new coil into the ERP system and checks certs/PO to make sure correct material was received. Creates test tube job for each new coil brought in and prints those travelers for production.
- Corrects any known discrepancies for inventory in EPR system.
- Reviews completed D71 travelers and compares them to the operations/material claimed by the operators. Corrects any ops/material that was not claimed by operators. Issues coil from ERP systems Job Pick Lists and issues tubes from Tube Inventory.
- Issues completed tubes to the “higher level” assembly job and passes the end burning travelers for those completed tubes to D62 Production Control.
- Communicates with procurement when material more material is needed for orders on the floor due to inventory discrepancies.
- Prints any replacement travelers if necessary.
- Adds any OEM orders to the “OEM tubes” spreadsheet.
- Receives bolster sheet for completed tubes and physically checks bolster to make sure quantity and cycle numbers are correct.
- Runs report for tube inventory sheets for bolster consolidation, sorts information in excel, and prints for Yard Crew.
- Prints inventory on hand sheets for cycle counts.
- Covers for D62/D63 Production Control job duties when they are out.
