Job Purpose: Compiles and maintains production records to perform data analysis and drive process improvements. Evaluates operational strategies to identify inadequacies, recommend changes for improvement, and provide technical guidance for internal stakeholders. Ensures adequate inventory levels and maintains production schedules to ensure efficient production flow. Prepares reports concerning production flow for upper management. Serves as the liaison for engineering, sales, manufacturing, and upper management to ensure timely production flows. Essential Functions:

Education and Experience: A 3 years’ experience in the materials function in a manufacturing environment or a combination of equivalent education and experience. Work Environment: Work is primarily indoors in a climate-controlled manufacturing/office building; noise level is moderate. Occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts. Physical Demands: While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to talk, hear, stand, and walk. The employee is frequently required to sit, stand walk, and use their hands and fingers, to handle or feel. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, reach for, handle and grasp objects. Travel Required: Occasional travel to visit with suppliers and customers and attend industry meetings and training programs as requested.
