IT Production Control Supervisor jobs in Fort Smith, AR

Job Summary

This position is responsible to oversee daily plant operations in the moving, processing, and

shipping of recyclable materials in a safe and efficient manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

•  Manages daily plant operations and ensures compliance with all safety practices.
•  Reviews and evaluates work to ensure quality, timeliness, and compliance with policies
• and procedures.
•  Supervises productions staff and coordinates workflow and assignments to achieve
• operational goals.
•  Oversees operations’ personnel needs including coaching, training, and promotion
• decisions.
•  Investigates, reviews, and controls implementation of safety regulations and company
• policies and procedures.
•  Communicates safety concerns and employee performance concerns to the General
• Manager.
•  Participates in performance review and disciplinary meetings when necessary.
•  Submits daily, weekly, and month end reports to the General Manager.
•  Performs other job-related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to
• time.

Work Environment

This role requires working in the elements, in the plant yard, exposed to dust and debris.

Frequently operates forklifts, and skid steers. Lifting, pushing, pulling, kneeling, stooping,

bending.

Required Education and Experience

•  High School Diploma
•  Previous supervisory experience in a similar industry

Preferred Education and Experience

•  Bi-lingual speaking is preferred.
•  2 years of prior supervisory experience
•  1 year of prior production, recycling, or similar experience.
