    As a first-line supervisor for a skilled production labor team, you'll play a key role in coordinating work schedules, aiding in employee selection, and providing constructive feedback on performance. You'll also ensure adherence to work rules and contribute to creating a positive work environment. Safety, productivity, and quality management will be central to your responsibilities, with opportunities to suggest improvements in equipment, staffing, processes, and even product or service enhancements. Your input will be valued in driving efficiency and excellence within the department.

    Hours: Mon-Fri 1:30pm-10:00pm

    Responsibilities

    1. Oversee department workforce.

    2. Maintain a safe work environment with the goal of having zero work-related injuries. Know and follow all safety procedures.

    3. Understand and manufacture according to Romac’s production system and meet stated productivity goals.

    4. Understand and follow the concepts of the Theory of Constraints and Lean Manufacturing.

    5. Coach, train, and develop personnel.

    6. Understand and enforce all company policies fairly and consistently.

    Qualifications:

    1. 2 years of shop floor working experience at Romac as an Assistant Supervisor or Lead or 4 years of similar outside workplace experience

    2. Ability to lead, coach, and delegate

    3. Strong communication, typing, math, and computer skills

    4. Possess or can obtain a CPR and Industrial First Aid certificate

    5. Possess at least a limited blueprint reading ability

    Compensation:

    $33.03-$49.57 per hour $1 Swing Shift Differential
