    The IT Coordinator position is responsible for supporting our organization's IT infrastructure and ensuring the seamless operation of our technology systems. This position will work closely with various departments and vendors to address technical issues, implement IT solutions, and contribute to the overall efficiency of our technology environment.

    Essential Roles and Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with IT vendors to ensure the procurement of necessary equipment and software licenses.
    • Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software systems.
    • Conduct regular system audits and implement necessary security measures.
    • Develop and maintain IT documentation, including system manuals and user guides.
    • Stay informed about emerging technologies and recommend upgrades or improvements to current systems.
    • Collaborate with IT team members and vendors to implement IT projects and initiatives.
    • Coordinate and conduct IT training sessions for employees as needed.
    • Assist in IT project budgeting and planning.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    • Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, and software applications.
    • Skilled in various hardware and software technologies (Citrix, Active Directory, Azure AD, Azure Virtual Desktops, VMware, Veeam, Palo Alto Firewalls and Netapp) is required.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
    • Skilled in interpersonal communication.
    • Skilled in working with company leadership and vendors.

    Measures of Performance:

    • Implementation of IT projects and initiatives
    • Conducting regular system audits, update/monitor security measures and programs
    • Development and maintenance of IT documentation, manuals, guidelines
    • Coordinate and conduct IT training sessions for employees as needed

    Required Qualification:

    • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field is required.
    • Minimum of 1 year of experience as an IT Coordinator or similar role is required.
    • Minimum of 1 year of experience working with or managing a NIST 800-171 compliant infrastructure.
    • CompTIA A certification is required or equivalent experience.
    • Valid driver’s license is required.
    • U.S. citizenship required

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Certifications such as CompTIA A , Network , Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) is preferred.

    • Visual Acuity: Must be adequate to perform above listed tasks in a safe manner and perform activities such as viewing a computer terminal and extensive reading.
    • Lifting: Must be able to exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
