IT Project Coordinator coordinates all IT projects and ensures company resources are utilized appropriately. Compiles project status reports, coordinates project schedules, manages project meetings, and identifies and resolves technical problems. Being an IT Project Coordinator identifies and analyzes systems requirements and defines project scope, requirements, and deliverables. Coordinates project activities and ensures all project phases are documented appropriately. Additionally, IT Project Coordinator requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. To be an IT Project Coordinator typically requires 4 to 7 years of related experience. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project.   • Summary: The primary function of this position is to align customer, supplier, and subcontractor information of assigned projects with TMI operational and financial objectives, by performing the following duties:

    Essential Duties

    • Maintain accurate contract values with customers, suppliers, and subcontractors.
    • Maintain accurate phasing schedules in software applications.
    • Coordinate, process, and communicate post-order pricing as required. Process change orders timely.
    • Maintain accurate record of post-order pricings in software applications.
    • Timely process change orders for accepted pricing.
    • Maintain an accurate and complete job file.
    • Review customer and supplier drawings, including quality checks, revise and resubmits, approvals with colors, material releases, and fabrication releases. Coordinate and process appropriate actions from reviews.
    • Respond to customer requests for samples, mock-ups, and shortage/breakage items.
    • Research quality issues and resolve as appropriate with customers, suppliers, and subcontractors.
    • Learn and keep current on internal engineering standards and industry standards.
    • Assist with coordinating and communicating product deliveries to project sites.
    • Assist customers with close-out and warranty documents as needed.

    Supervisory Responsibilities

    This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

    • Education and/or Experience

    Associates Degree; one-year related experience in construction management, project management, engineering, sales, or customer service. Equivalent combination of education and experience.

    • Language Skills

    Ability to read and interpret documents such as policy and procedure manuals, research journals, contracts, safety standards and specifications. Ability to write clear reports and correspondence. Ability to communicate and negotiate are skills that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential duties of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to speak to and in front of customer, co-workers, and groups of people.

    • Mathematical Skills

    Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as price, discounts, commissions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic math, algebra, and geometry.

    • Reasoning Ability

    Ability to understand and to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to work with problems involving concrete and abstract variables.
