The IT Project Manager plans, organizes and implements the company's technical projects. The ideal candidate will have experience with all aspects of project leadership, including coordination of production releases and roll-outs, delegation and management of tasks, and presenting on projects' progress and results. This will be achieved by:
Setting project goals and coming up with plans to meet those goals
Maintaining project timeframes, budgeting estimates and status reports
Coordinating project team members and developing schedules and individual responsibilities
Implementing IT strategies that deliver projects on schedule and within budget
Using project management tools to track project performance and schedule adherence
Conducting risk assessments for projects
Organizing meetings to discuss project goals and progress
Objectives of the role
- Build and develop the project team to ensure maximum performance, by providing purpose, direction, and motivation
- Lead projects from requirements definition through deployment, identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimations, and implementation plans, including risk mitigation
- Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure that projects adhere to scope, schedule, and budget
- Analyze project status and, when necessary, revise the scope, schedule, or budget to ensure that project requirements can be met
- Establish and maintain relationships with relevant client stakeholders, providing day-to-day contact on project status and changes
Responsibilities
- Liaising with stakeholders such as project personnel, vendors, and end-users regarding project requirements
- Outlining, defining, and initiating the project
- Implementing document control policies and documentation templates
- Monitoring project progress and implementing changes where necessary
- Prepare accurate and detailed project status reports
- Monitoring expenditures in accordance with the budget
- Ensuring compliance with objectives, organizational policies, procedures, and standards
- Compiling project reports and informing management regarding problems
- Ensuring project complies with best practices, SOPs, PMO policies, and other policies
- Coordinate the development of documentation to enable implementation and turnover of the process or system
- Lead team in meeting client expectations and project deliverables
- Conduct post-project evaluation
Requirements
Certification from Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute (PMI) is strongly preferred.
4 year Degree in Computer Science
Candidate must have a minimum of 4 years of experience managing large projects.
Balance of business/technical background with sufficient level of technical background to provide highly credible leadership to technology teams.
Solid understanding of ITIL concepts as well as expert knowledge of both Agile and Waterfall project management principles.
Proficient in use of Microsoft Office Applications, including Project, Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio, PowerPoint.
Experience using workflow management tools (i.e. Trello, Slack).
Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical parties

The salary range for this position is 90 - 105K.
