Our client is hiring an IT Project Manager to play a pivotal role in analyzing and implementing technical solutions to optimize processes and solve business problems. You’ll work with internal and external stakeholders to manage projects from inception to successful completion. The first projects include: selecting and working with 3rd party vendors on a new EDI solution, adding capabilities to MS Dynamics, enabling seamless transactions for sales, banking, and distribution, and ensuring compliance with all systems.
The ideal candidate has 5 years of experience managing implementations from beginning to end with recent ERP and EDI system experience. You’re an expert at gathering requirements and using best practices to deliver applications within time, resource, and budget constraints. You understand risks and tradeoffs and can present leadership with options and recommendations. You can complete UAT testing, deliver training, and ensure adoption by internal and external users. You have excellent communication skills and can work with everyone on technical issues and translate concepts and solutions to non-technical users.

Responsibilities:- Own several systems and applications and manage projects from inception to adoption including determining priorities, tasks, schedules, resources, and vendor management.
- Work across the organization and with external 3rd party vendors, distributors, and suppliers to define requirements and workflow, create, test, validate and deploy solutions, and ensure adoption with appropriate training.
- Continually optimizes, troubleshoots, and fixes EDI, ERP, and other solutions with new data, products, customers, and vendors.
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders – internally and externally – to ensure needs, risks, and tradeoffs are understood and decisions can be made.
- Create and maintain documentation including configuration details, mapping specifications, training, and troubleshooting guides.
- Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements
Required Skills and Experience:- Bachelor’s degree
- 5 years of experience managing system/application implementations.
- Recent experience with EDI mapping, ERP solutions (MS Dynamics preferred).
- Self-starter with the ability to drive projects and work with minimal supervision.
- Strong organizational skills – managing priorities, tradeoffs, resources, timelines, and budgets.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of an organization (internally and externally) and make technical complexities understandable by all.
