Job Summary
As world’s Leading Critical Digital Infrastructure Provider, Vertiv are seeking a highly motivated and skilled IT Project Manager to join our dynamic team. As an integral part of our Project Management Office, you will play a crucial role in the successful standardization, planning, execution, and monitoring of IT projects ensuring they are executed efficiently, aligned with business goals, and deliver sustainable value, that drive our organization's growth and technological advancement.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and maintenance of project management methodologies, tools, templates, and best practices within the IT PMO framework.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and requirements, ensuring alignment with business goals and IT strategy.
• Provide support in project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure phases, ensuring adherence to established processes and standards.
• Assist project managers in the creation of project plans, schedules, and resource allocation, and provide guidance on effective project management techniques.
• Monitor project progress and performance against established KPIs, identifying potential risks, issues, and deviations from the plan.
• Contribute to the identification and implementation of process improvements to enhance project delivery efficiency and effectiveness.
• Prepare regular project status reports and dashboards for stakeholders, highlighting key achievements, milestones, and areas requiring attention.
• Participate in project review meetings and facilitate communication between project teams, stakeholders, and the IT leadership.
• Assist in the management of project documentation, ensuring that it is up to date, organized, and easily accessible.
• Contribute to the evaluation and selection of project management tools and software to streamline project tracking and reporting processes.
• Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to IT project management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Master's Degree is a plus.
• 3 years of experience in IT project management or related roles.
• Solid understanding of project management methodologies, processes, and tools.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, etc.).
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess project risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on quality and accuracy in project documentation and reporting.
• PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent certification is preferred.
• Experience in Smartsheet is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.
