The Information Technology (IT) Project Manager is accountable for planning and overseeing the development and support of key projects within the IT department. This person will work with the Business Users to develop projects and manage them through a delivery lifecycle and will work under the direction of the VP, Information Technology.
The Exponential Technology Group (XTG) is a specialist in the electronic component distribution and design engineering services industries. XTG is part of the TTI Family of Specialists. This position will report to the Director, PMO. This position will be onsite in North Fort Worth, with the opportunity to work from home two (2) day a week after the training period. **For the right candidate, this position may be remote.**
ACCOUNTABILITIES
Assess the project needs and requirements by conferring with stakeholders and department management.
Work with stakeholders and department staff to identify resources needed and assigns individual project responsibilities. Will also minimizes exposure and risk on projects by guiding and communicating across functions.
Ensure project objectives are being met and within budget, in a timely manner by overseeing and reviewing projects on a regular basis.
Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
Prepare high-level and/or detail-level project plan by use of appropriate methods (i.e. Flowcharts, Word documents, Project Planning Software, etc.)
Lead team members in developing a project plan by reviewing current user processes and application functionality, and by verifying team members understand the requirements and scope of the project.
Ensure that team members understand the user’s needs and the project’s impact on the system by reviewing project plans submitted by team members.
Ensure projects are tracked by using the project tracking software provided by Information Services.
Ensure management is informed of current issues by providing periodic updates of project status.
Satisfy user requirements to improve performance and productivity by evaluating and recommending third party software packages.
Provide resolutions to problems by taking the initiative to use all available resources for research and corrective action.
Motivate, develop, lead and manage Project Resource staff to achieve fullest potential by establishing Project goals, providing necessary guidance and receiving regular feedback as projects progress.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science preferred. Minimum 3-5 Years of Project Management Experience required. Stakeholder Management Experience.

What we offer our team members:
Total Annual Compensation: $102,600 - $130,500/year. Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level.
