Project Intake responsibilities include:
Track the inflow of project requests and evaluate if a new Project is required. Assist with the Change Management Process and documentation; including answering questions, helping to prepare Change Advisory Board materials, and providing feedback on next steps.
Project Management responsibilities include:
Maintain the roadmap of the network infrastructure and cybersecurity teams.
Managing several projects and initiatives simultaneously, working within department and with business unit managers across company, as well as other project team members to achieve project completion. This requires the ability to schedule tasks and coordinate with various team members to accomplish the results. This role will be responsible for keeping the projects on track with time and budget.
- Create and execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements (Project plans, Communication plans, Issues logs, and status reports
- Responsible for overall migration planning of IT infrastructure. Provide datacenter migration expertise and coordination in support of overall project.
- Identify resources needed and assign individual responsibilities.
- Manage the timeline of the project and communication with the stakeholders to meet tight deadlines
- Anticipate and mitigate project risks to avoid impacts to timelines and deliverables
- Communicate with senior management on project statuses, issues, risks, etc.
- Keep project team and key stakeholders informed of changes
- Coordinate work of multiple parties involved across different projects
- Identify, communicate, and assist teams in removing roadblocks
- Manage day-to-day operational aspects of projects
- Ensure project documents are complete, current, and retained
- Facilitate project team meetings
- Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions and ensure project success
- Leverage your expertise in datacenter closures to ensure a smooth transition of data and applications to the AWS cloud environment.
Qualifications
Qualifications include:
- Highly motivated and self-directed
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with experience reporting to C-level executives
- Proven track record of delivering on time and budget, technical IT infrastructure and cloud migration projects
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering results

- Effective communication across various levels of the company
- Result-oriented, organized, and efficient
Experience Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management roles, with a track record of successfully leading complex technical projects
- Experience with Datacenter closures and migration or similar large-scale infrastructure projects
- Experience leading small to medium size projects or business initiatives
- Strong written communication skills and facility with Microsoft Office applications
- Strong knowledge of JIRA and Confluence
- Experience with AWS strongly preferred
Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
- Project Management Certification (PMP) or minimum 6 years of Project Management experience
- Knowledge of Project Management methodologies
Working conditions
Some projects may require evening and weekend work where required due to testing, project releases and implementation, etc.
