IT Project Manager jobs in Syracuse, NY

The IT Project Technician is a key member of the Usherwood team that is responsible for assisting with all technical aspects of their assigned IT projects. The project technician position is responsible for planning, scheduling, and managing assigned technical tasks in their assigned project.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist with IT related projects that may consist of but are not limited to deployments of workstations, network equipment, servers, BDR devices, temperature sensors, Microsoft Teams rooms.
• Assist with new client onboarding tasks.
• Conduct client discoveries.
• Assist with camera server deployments.
• Assist with new client onboarding reactive service tickets.
• Document processes and procedures.
• Assist with automating processes (Ex. Endpoint managers white glove deployment process) 
• Ensure that all time is accurately tracked and entered into project tickets with detailed notes.  
• Communicate with clients on project scheduling and set appropriate expectations (Ex. Downtime)

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience working with Microsoft Intune and Windows Autopilot is preferred.
• Associate degree in either Computer Science or IT is preferred.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a technical support or help desk center is preferred.
• CompTIA A , Network , and Security Certifications are preferred.
• Knowledge of Microsoft windows operating systems, mobile devices and printers/scanners, Microsoft Office Suite, and ticketing system applications.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask assigned issues in a fast-paced work environment.
• Positive attitude of customer service and integrity.
• Must be able to communicate with customers in a professional manner.
• Demonstrated problem troubleshooting, root cause and resolution skills.
