IT Quality Assurance Director is responsible for planning and directing the policies, programs, and initiatives used to monitor and measure the overall quality of IT services, systems, and software. Ensures that tracking systems capture useful operational metrics for use in reducing defects, improving service, and optimizing the implementation process. Being an IT Quality Assurance Director requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a top management. The IT Quality Assurance Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Your Opportunity as the Lead Analyst, IS Quality Assurance - PMO
Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of Quality Assurance and lead and coach others on skills required to serve as a Quality Assurance Lead. Develop test plans, create tests scripts and provide test management for highly visible and critical projects at the company.
Location: Orrville, OH (Close proximity to Cleveland/Akron)
Work Arrangements: Hybrid ~25% in office presence
In this role you will:
Work on and lead various project deliverables including but not limited to:
Test plans, detailed test schedules, test environment plans
Own and facilitate the design, construction and execution of test cases/ test scenarios
Collaborate with Business Analysts to ensure requirements are testable and well defined
Analyze system architecture and designs testing strategy as appropriate
Create functional design in collaboration with IT development teams
Define and publish project testing metrics
Lead testing efforts on PMO led projects:
Define test schedule through collaboration with Project Manager
Help to inform revisions to overall plan with Project Manager
Continue to revise plan and adapt to project changes with Project Manager
Manage cross-functional testing efforts with complex dependencies
Role model the use of standards and methodologies around testing management
Effectively manages the test schedule in alignment with triple constraint: Budget, Time, Scope
Develop and promote testing best practices:
Leverage and enhance standard testing deliverables
Incorporate automated testing where appropriate to increase test coverage
Leverage and develop key testing metrics and dashboards
Proactively execute best practices regarding audit and security controls
Identify potential risks to delivery, both inside and outside of own workstream, identifying and presenting possible solutions
Advancement of QA Profession:
Guide and mentor others to help advance quality assurance as a discipline, practice and profession

Minimum Requirements:
5 years of relevant work experience
Experience leading project management activities with a strong understanding of project management methodology
Proficiency with Microsoft Project and HP Application Lifecycle Management (ALM)
Proven ability to influence and shape outcomes through strong interpersonal and communication skills
Demonstrated ability to think critically and conceptually
Customer service mindset with a commitment to quality deliverables
