We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Quality Assurance Manager for our manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in food safety, audits, food packaging, food manufacturing, SQF practitioner, HACCP, pest control, and quality SOPS. This is a full-time position with competitive compensation and benefits packages.
Responsibilities:

Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory and
industry standards.

Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure adherence to quality standards and identify areas for
improvement.

Manage and oversee the pest control program to ensure a clean and safe manufacturing environment.

Develop and maintain quality control documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), work
instructions, and quality manuals.

Train and educate employees on quality control procedures and standards.

Collaborate with production, engineering, and other departments to resolve quality issues and improve
processes.

Maintain and update the Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) program to ensure food safety.

Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations, including FDA, USDA, and state and local requirements.

Manage and maintain the Safe Quality Food (SQF) program to ensure compliance and certification.

Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent quality issues from recurring.

Manage and maintain the quality control laboratory and equipment.
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor's degree in food science, microbiology, or a related field.

Minimum of 10 years of experience in quality assurance in the food manufacturing industry.

Certified SQF practitioner and HACCP certification required.

Knowledge of FDA, USDA, and state and local food safety regulations.

Strong understanding of quality control procedures and standards.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to lead and manage a team.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and quality control software.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
