IT Quality Assurance Director is responsible for planning and directing the policies, programs, and initiatives used to monitor and measure the overall quality of IT services, systems, and software. Ensures that tracking systems capture useful operational metrics for use in reducing defects, improving service, and optimizing the implementation process. Being an IT Quality Assurance Director requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a top management. The IT Quality Assurance Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. QA Responsibilities:
· Complete quarterly CR audits for each client’s learning tree
· Review session notes according to company policy
· Review assessments and progress reports to ensure they meet payor requirements
· Create, implement QA measurement tools to assess BCBA (company/state) clinical quality of treatment reports, programming and treatment fidelity.
· Audit CR library to ensure all goals are observable and measurable
· Complete all peer review calls with payors and medical teams as needed
Compliance Responsibilities:
· HIPAA officer- oversee policies and trainings of just HIPAA-related things
· Ethics officer- answer any ethical questions in conjunction with RCD
· In conjunction with RCD, host peer review meetings for all company-wide BCBAs to assist with clinical quality questions and programming concerns, high-needs cases.
· BHCOE application- review, organize and create documentation necessary for application approval.
· Insurance regulations- update report templates, session note templates, authorization templates to ensure they meet requirements for all payors.
· Complete the process for credentialing with additional payors in conjunction with authorization team, as needed
· Review and submit clinical documentation needed for any clinical audits
Assessment Responsibilities:
· Complete all necessary paperwork to request assessment auth and service auth
· Complete all initial assessments, up to 3 per week
· Submit each assessment to insurance within 7 days of assessment date
Supervision Responsibilities:
· Participate in supervision and training sessions to assess and support clinical quality of programming as requested by RCD.
