IT Quality Assurance Director is responsible for planning and directing the policies, programs, and initiatives used to monitor and measure the overall quality of IT services, systems, and software. Ensures that tracking systems capture useful operational metrics for use in reducing defects, improving service, and optimizing the implementation process. Being an IT Quality Assurance Director requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a top management. The IT Quality Assurance Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. SUMMARY
Responsible for quality processes oversight at Polyethylene laboratories to ensure that timely and accurate data and documentation are provided to customers.
Diagnoses and resolves quality issues through data analysis and in collaboration with lab personnel and other departments.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate as normally based in an office. Some of the work may be required in the operating units which can require usage of required PPE including safety glasses, hearing protection, etc.
May also result in exposure to outside elements and may require usage of stairs and elevators. Travel including air travel or auto travel may occasionally be required.
