SUMMARY

As an IT Risk Assurance Manager, this position is responsible for working with our clients and leading teams of consulting practitioners.

Ready to take the lead, tackle challenging assignments, and excel in the business! At MSL, we'll ask you to:

• Analyzing and evaluating information technology (IT) security risks and controls.
• Performing IT audits and other IT-related controls assurance or controls readiness engagements associated with external, internal or System and Organization Controls (SOC) audits.
• Providing IT risk reduction recommendations.
• Implementing solutions to control weaknesses.
• Developing policies and procedures as it relates to information systems controls.
• Leading consulting services on various IT-related engagements, such as penetration testing, vulnerability assessments or phishing simulations.
• Developing written reports of IT and business risks, control descriptions, findings, and recommendations.
• Identifying opportunities and helping to sell consulting services to both current and prospective clients.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, information systems or computer science from a regionally accredited college or university.
• Three plus years of relevant professional experience in Information Systems and/or IT Audit, preferably with Big 4 or equivalent.
• Experience in applying relevant technical knowledge in at least one of the following types of engagements: (a) financial statement audits; (b) internal or operational audits; (c) SSAE18 engagements; and/or (d) ERP security and control reviews (Oracle, SAP, PeopleSoft).
• Possess a high degree of integrity and confidentiality, as well as ability to adhere to both company policies and best practices.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations

· Active state Certified Public Accountant license or equivalent recognized by the firm (e.g., Chartered Professional Accountant), Certified Internal Auditor, Certified Information Systems Auditor, or other technical certification is preferred.

· Active driver’s license and proof of insurance.

Preferred Practice Areas of Experience:

Knowledgeable regarding Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) Act, COSO Framework, CoBIT, ITIL and/or other leading business and IT control frameworks.

Experienced in ERP/systems implementations, either through internal audit or as part of the implementation team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
