IT Vendor Relationship Manager manages the organization's strategic technology vendor management program to meet company needs and comply with required quality standards. Assists with selecting the company's product and service providers and tracks the procurement of IT products and services to monitor and maintain operational costs and budgets. Being an IT Vendor Relationship Manager leads request for proposals (RFP) process to vet the reputation and quality of vendor products. Negotiates service level agreements to ensure performance/quality metrics, responsibilities, expectations, and penalties are clearly defined. Additionally, IT Vendor Relationship Manager works closely with internal teams to monitor, maintain, and improve existing vendor relationships. Conducts regular business reviews to ensure compliance with company expectations, review issues, and develop solutions. May require experience with software licensing and hardware procurement. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The IT Vendor Relationship Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions.   • POSITION SUMMARY:

    Involved in daily operations, planning, development, implementation, and support of the Casino's Information Systems data center, software systems, and communications systems. Assisting in directing, reviewing, analyzing, coordinating, and overseeing all Infrastructure Technologies, personnel, and operations, including networks, servers, security protocols, storage hardware, and software, while ensuring reliability, uptime, and security for all the Casino's supporting hardware and software. The Assistant IT Manager will oversee IT Help Desk Services, application, and system support and ensure that end-users receive the appropriate assistance.


    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    Ensure effectiveness of data center including security logs; verification that proper backups and restores take place, equipment maintenance, and operating safety.

    Ensure efficient maintenance and performance of systems.

    Prepare, alter and maintain detailed maintenance schedules for all hardware and software applications.

    Assist in planning, coordinating, directing, and designing IT systems-related solutions for the organization.

    Assist in the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade, and support of all IT systems, including; servers, workstations, operating systems, hardware, software, and peripherals.

    Assist in managing, guiding, and mentoring a team of IT systems professionals.

    Assist in IT staffing, including supervision, scheduling, career development, and performance evaluations.

    Analyze the performance of the IT Service Desk activities and documented resolutions, identify problem areas, and devise and deliver solutions to enhance the quality of service and prevent future problems.

    Preserves assets by implementing disaster recovery and backup procedures and information security and control structures.

    ADDITIONAL DUTIES:Work closely with the IT Manager and the IT Director to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective technology solutions for all aspects of the organization.

    Benchmark, analyze, report on, and make recommendations for the improvement and growth of the IT infrastructure and IT systems.

    Help define IT infrastructure strategy, architecture, and processes.

    Stay up to date on security risks and ensure corporate security.

    Analyze business requirements by partnering with key stakeholders to develop solutions to streamline software system usage and streamline business operations for efficiency.

    Apply and adhere to all administrative and organization internal controls to ensure continuous compliance within the enterprise.

    Coordinate equipment installation and maintenance activities with operations to avoid disruption in IT communications and systems to ensure the efficiency of operations.

    Evaluate new technologies and platforms to determine their applicability to solving business challenges and needs. Make recommendations.

    Follow IT standards to manage projects through the project lifecycles of initiation, planning, execution, and closure.

    EDUCATION:

    Bachelor’s Degree


    TRAINING AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

    Four to six years related experience.

    Four years of proven hands-on experience, implementing, supporting, administrating, troubleshooting, and maintaining core enterprise applications of a Casino Management System, Property Management Systems, Financial Management Systems, F&B Systems.

    Must be able to read, write, and verbally communicate fluently in English.
