IT Vendor Relationship Manager jobs in Daytona Beach, FL

Newkirk Engineering Inc. (NEI) is seeking an IT Manager who will oversee the daily operations of the Newkirk IT department and meet the technological challenges of our growing firm.

The IT Manager will oversee and support 40 in-house and remote employees and their desktop and laptop devices, as well as various servers across four offices.

Primary Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all aspects of the company's IT operations, including network infrastructure, systems administration, and user support.
• Maintain and monitor IT hardware including but not limited to laptops, desktops, servers, and other network equipment.
• Track software installations and licensing on servers and user devices to ensure compliance.
• Staying up to date on new network technologies and reporting this information to the executive team on a periodic basis.
• Work closely with company leadership on growth needs and maintenance of the company’s network, through planning, forecasting and problem identification.
• Develop and lead IT projects such as server expansions, software deployments, and security upgrades.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users as needed.Performs other related duties as assigned.

Experience & Education Preferences

• Proven experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator, or similar role.
• Expertise in implementing, configuring, and testing IT solutions.
• Knowledge, understanding, and implementation of system security (e.g., intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery for multiple servers/locations.
• Experience managing MS Server 2022, MS Exchange, including AD/DNS/DHCP/Group Policies.
• Excellent working knowledge of network interaction with user devices, cloud, and inter-site communication.
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in information technology or computer science.

Location

The position will be based in our Ormond Beach office but will require some travel to our offices in DeLand & Tampa.
