IT Vendor Relationship Manager manages the organization's strategic technology vendor management program to meet company needs and comply with required quality standards. Assists with selecting the company's product and service providers and tracks the procurement of IT products and services to monitor and maintain operational costs and budgets. Being an IT Vendor Relationship Manager leads request for proposals (RFP) process to vet the reputation and quality of vendor products. Negotiates service level agreements to ensure performance/quality metrics, responsibilities, expectations, and penalties are clearly defined. Additionally, IT Vendor Relationship Manager works closely with internal teams to monitor, maintain, and improve existing vendor relationships. Conducts regular business reviews to ensure compliance with company expectations, review issues, and develop solutions. May require experience with software licensing and hardware procurement. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The IT Vendor Relationship Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an IT Vendor Relationship Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     SUMMARY

    This role serves as the account executive for new and existing complex clients and will be responsible for managing a portfolio with Average Loans Outstanding from $7.5MM to $20MM. Establishes and maintains a "trusted advisor" relationship with clients based on knowledgeable advice that is aligned to the clients' business objectives and lifecycle. Develops and grows new business and builds/maintains strong relationships with prospects. Drives financial performance through profitable revenue and growth, and quality credit.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: other duties may be assigned.

    • Achieves individual annual production and growth goals for loan, deposits, and fees to ensure the bank meets its overall financial targets and conforms to credit terms.
    • Uses the Dashboard to track performance.
    • Initiates and develops new business through outside business development activities.
    • Ensures ongoing contact with new clients to enhance client's experience with FIB.
    • Develops a comprehensive understanding of the client's needs based on the review and analysis of personal bank business financial data gathered through relationship reviews and personal meetings. (Where appropriate, uses 360View to document activities.)
    • Actively participates in community organizations to source business development opportunities and demonstrates First Interstate Bank's commitment to the communities we serve.
    • Builds client referral pipeline via identification and development of internal and external center of influence.
    • Develops and maintains an in-depth knowledge of products and services as well as knowledge of competitors and competitive products. Proactively promotes bank products and services and keeps clients informed of all the financial solutions FIB has to meet their needs.
    • Partners consistently with other internal business partners to uncover opportunities to deepen the client relationship.
    • Works on complex problems requiring in-depth evaluation of client information.
    • Makes decisions on loans and terms within established lending limits. Analyzes credit to determine the ability of clients to qualify for borrowing requirements.
    • Maintains follow up on existing loans to ensure compliance with internal procedures and other required terms.
    • Research and study industrial, commercial, economic, and financial situations relating to existing and new business.
    • Maintain compliance with all bank regulations for assigned job function and applies to designated job responsibilities:
    • Knowledge may be gained through coursework and on-the-job training.
    • Keeps up to date on regulation changes.
    • Follows all Bank policies and procedures, compliance regulations, and completes all required annual training.
    • Actively engages, demonstrates, and fosters the First Interstate Bank Mission, Vision and Values by executing the Service Commitments.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

    Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from a four-year college or university and one plus (1 ) years' experience; exhibits strong credit analysis and commercial underwriting skills, including accounting, financial statement and cash flow analysis experience; has completed Credit Analyst training; knowledge of commercial lending policies, procedures, practices and documentation; excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills; ability to work effectively with individuals and groups across the company to manage customer relationships; proficiency with personal computers and related software packages such as Word and Excel; knowledge of the bank's risk-rating system, credit products and underwriting policies.

    OTHER SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

    Computer skills essential, including Word and Excel and Outlook. Experience with PowerPoint beneficial. Requires initiative and solid judgement with oral/written communication skills including facilitation. Ability to prioritize work and remain adaptable under pressure.

    LANGUAGE SKILLS

    Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries of complaints of customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.

    MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

    Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

    REASONING ABILITY

    Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand and sit. The employee is occasionally required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
